 “Why isn’t my internet working?”

  • Verify equipment is in place, powered and plugged in correctly. Unplug both modem and router and plug the modem back in first. After it syncs up and becomes online plug in the wireless router. Test your connection again. If unable to connect please call us at 800-459-2256.

 

“I don’t see any wireless networks available to connect to.”

  • Make sure your wireless adapter is enabled on your laptop. There is usually a toggle switch on the side of your laptop or there might be a function key button in order to turn the wireless adapter on to scan for networks.

 

“I can connect to the network but no pages will load.”

  • Verify equipment is in place, powered and plugged in correctly. Unplug both modem and router and plug the modem back in first. After it syncs up and becomes online plug in the wireless router. Test your connection again. If unable to connect please call us at 800-459-2256.

 

“I can connect to the network but it gives me a Charter Sign-Up Page.”

  • Please call us at 800-459-2256 as it seems the modem has lost its provisioning.

 

“I can’t get my Smart Device/TV online.”

  • Give us a call at 800-459-2256 and we will get you setup for your device to work correctly.

 

“The phones aren’t working/no dial tone.”

  • Verify VoIP adapter is plugged into power outlet and that the Ethernet/CAT5 cord is plugged into the blue port and back to the modem. If you are still having trouble please call us at 800-459-2256.
